Paulette Donnellon, an award-winning photographer, passionately captures images of nature and wildlife as a hobby. Her photograph of an Eastern Collared Lizard will grace the 2024 America the Beautiful National Park Pass. Much of Paulette Donnellon’s photography is in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the Salton Sea area. She will also go on the road as often as she can to explore and discover new content to photograph in our natural world. When she's not behind the lens, Paulette holds a position at LEGO® Education. In her free time, she dedicates herself as a trustee for the San Diego County Board of Education, a role she assumed after being elected in 2016, representing District 4, which covers inland north San Diego County. Additionally, she actively participates on the boards of directors for both the Anza Borrego Foundation and the Classroom of the Future Foundation. Notably, Paulette served nine years in the U.S. Army and was deployed during Desert Storm.
